From 29 December, 2015 the journal is included in the new edition of the list of peer-reviewed scientific publications, which should publish basic scientific results of the thesis papers in support of candidature for a Candidate of Sciences and a Doctor of Science in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia from 25 July, 2014 №793 as amended by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia from 3 June 2015 №560 (registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on 25 August, 2014, registration number №33863).

For Authors

The main purpose of the journal is to provide a wide community of scientists with an opportunity for interaction, also at the international level, in terms of discussing the results of scientific researches in the realm of developing theory and practice of improving efficiency of the agro-industrial complex, and theoretical and practical issues of agriculture. The theoretical journal of science and practice "Bulletin of Kursk State Agriculture Academy" publishes the results of scientific researches and their manufacturing implementation.

The main goal is ensured by solving the following tasks:

  • operational publication of new scientific results;

  • comprehensive analysis of international and domestic experiences in the development of agricultural enterprises, industries and the entire agro-industrial complex;

  • interaction of the scientists of the Federal State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education "Kursk State Agricultural Academy" with agricultural practical workers in the implementation of scientific developments in agricultural production;

  • development of international cooperation in order to ensure compliance of well-known (and currently under research) scientific developments of the scientists of Kursk State Agricultural Academy with international standards or regulation for the use of achieved results;

  • informing the scientific community about the results of thesis papers and researches that are conducted under grants from different funds and companies;

  • promoting young scientists' participation in scientific and practical works, providing an opportunity for a wide discussion of the results of their researches.

The journal primarily publishes articles of the scientists and post-graduate students of Kursk State Agricultural Academy. In some cases, senior students of the bachelor's or master's degrees of Kursk State Agricultural Academy may publish their works in the journal if they have appropriate recommendations of the research adviser and passed review procedure. The journal may also accept articles by the authors who aren't employers or students of the Academy.

When preparing articles for publication, it's necessary to remember about the following rules. An article must contain the results of scientific researches, theoretical or practical developments that are ready for use and relevant (in demand) at the current stage of the scientific development; or they are of scientific or cognition interest. The content of the article must correspond to one of the groups of scientific professions, namely: 05.20.00 ‒ Processes and Machines of Agri-Engineering systems; 06.01.00 ‒ Agronomy; 06.02.00 ‒ veterinary and Animal Science; 08.00.00 ‒ Economic Sciences.

The article must have the code for the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) as well as the following information (both in Russian and English):

  • the title of the article which must be short, clear and typed in capital bold letters;

  • in the single-spaced typing there must be information about the author (authors), including last name, initials, academic degree, academic rank and position;

  • full name of the institution (without an abbreviation), where the author (authors) works or study;

  • the author's e-mail address and his/her contact numbers;

  • keywords;

  • abstract (its recommended volume is 200-250 words); The abstract shouldn't be started by repeating the title of the article. It must contain an objective of a study, its design and findings (preferably with quantitative data). It isn't allowed to divide the material of the abstract into paragraphs and use introductory words and phrases;

  • at the end of the article in order of citation there must be a list of the used sources to which references are made. The references are placed in square brackets with the source number and page number [1. ‒ P. 12].

The article must be structured with the following units: introduction, study material and its design, the main part of the work, findings and conclusions.

The materials are given to the editorial office (or sent by mail) in printed (1 copy) and electronic forms in one file (on CD), in the Word 97-2003 in the doc or rtf formats. The A4 format with the margins: left, right, top and bottom 2 cm, Times New Roman typeface with 14 font size, single spacing. Paragraph indent of 0,6 cm (set through the "Paragraph" box (not by spacing and tabulation). The volume of the article is 8-12 pages. The manuscripts of the article must be thoroughly verified and edited; the text must be clearly and consistently presented.

The quality of the pictures must ensure clear transmissions of all the details. Its name must be under the picture. At the same time, there must not be any scanned pictures (graphics, diagrams) in the article. The pictures must be black and white (of the medium brightness and contrast, without background).

A numerical content should be given in tables that are numbered in order of citation in Arabic numerals; the name of the table must follow the number on the same line. The tables must be numbered at the beginning of their names (Table 1 ‒ the Yield of Grain Culture in the Kursk Region in 2015, dt/ha). When typing tables, font size can be 10-12.

The dot isn't put after: UDC, the title of the article, the last name and the author's initials, addresses, table names, dimension (s - second, g ‒ gram, h ‒ hour, deg ‒ degree) in subscripts.

The dot is placed after: footnotes (including in tables), table notes, figure captions, annotations, keywords and abbreviations (wk. ‒ week, mth. ‒ months, min. ‒ minute, d. ‒ day, yr. ‒ year, mil. ‒ million).

All measurement units (except percent, ppm and degrees) are separated from numbers by spaces.

In the work, it is necessary to use physical units and designations that are normal in the International SI system. The transcription of geographical names must correspond to the modern sound.

On a separate page of the file with the manuscript, the full names, patronymics and surnames of all authors, as well as their phone numbers, e-mail addresses, indicating the author with whom the editorial office should correspond.

The principles that the author of scientific publications should be guided by:

  • The author (authors) is responsible for the content of the article and the integrity of the research data and their originality.

  • Borrowed fragments or statements must obligingly have an indication of the author and the original source. Excessive borrowing, as well as plagiarism in any form, including unformulated quotations, is not allowed.

  • It is necessary to recognize the contribution of all persons who somehow influenced the course of the research; in particular, the article must contain references to the works that were of importance in the conduct of the research.

  • Authors must not send to the journal a manuscript which was earlier sent to another journal or is under consideration, as well as an article that has already been published.

  • Co-authors of the article must be indicated all persons who participated in the research and writing of the article. Before sending it to the editorial office, the author must acquaint all co-authors with the final version of the scientific work and obtain their consent to publish it.

  • If the author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her manuscript, he/she is obliged to immediately notify the editor-in-chief of the journal and participate in eliminating the error.

The opinion of the editorial board may not coincide with the author's (authors') opinion. The editorial board reserves the right not to consider articles that violate the rules.

No fees are paid for published articles.
